E J served as a
corporate bank officer prior to a 26-year career at a Fortune 50 corporation
where he had assignments in Oklahoma, Missouri and Texas. He held real
estate broker licenses in each of those states with a property portfolio of
11,000,000 square feet representative of 900+ owned buildings, an investment
nearing $1,000,000,000, and lease facilities with a $70,000,000 annual
budget. Simultaneous to his corporate management, E J has extensive
start-up business ventures spanning 35 years. Awards were bestowed
for employment accomplishments, establishment of civic leader alliances, and
for the creation of additional employment for cities. Upon his corporate
retirement in January 2001, E J moved to the Rio Grand Valley where he
joined Marie Ferrier in 2005 to create a unique full service real estate
brokerage, GULF COAST SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, REALTORS. E J has been
active in Leadership Laguna Madre and is a member of the South Padre Island
Chamber of Commerce.

As a native Texan from the other Island off the coast of Texas, Marie
was delighted to return to coastal living when she and her family moved to
Bayview in 1994. She began her career in real estate specializing in
resort/investment property as well as primary residential property. In 2005
she joined with E J Wilkerson in creating GULF COAST SOUTH PADRE ISLAND,
REALTORS. It is a full service brokerage serving clients’ needs regarding 2nd
home/resort/investment property, residential property, and commercial
property. Additionally, it provides consulting services for development and
development opportunities in the rapidly growing lower Laguna Madre and Rio
Grande Valley areas. Marie has long been an advocate and active
participant in service to her community. She serves as Chairman of the
2007-2008 Board of Directors of the South Padre Island Chamber of
Commerce, is a member of the Port Isabel
Rotary Club and Paul Harris Fellow.

Suzanne
is a woman of many talents, who loves working in real estate. Suzanne
came to South Padre Island in 1985 from San Antonio, Texas, where she was
involved in property management. She obtained her Texas Real Estate
license in 1983 and became active in sales on the Island and Laguna Madre
area in 1986. Through her involvement with several brokerages,
including a partnership for her own brokerage, Suzanne added to her success.
She has now joined the team at
GULF COAST SOUTH PADRE ISLAND,
REALTORS and is looking
forward to a bright future in continuing to help her clients reach their
real estate goals. Finding the right property for her clients, whether
a primary or second home/investment property, is a challenge she relishes.

Originally
from the St. Louis area, with a major in Interior Design from the University
of Missouri, Sue has worked in most fields of real estate including
architecture, construction, property management, remodeling, retail strip
centers in a 3-state area, office park and mini-warehouse management, and
personnel. As Vice-President at Guaranty Federal Bank, Sue handled leasing
of their REO portfolio, acquisition and leasing of new bank locations, due
diligence of insolvent bank locations, and sales of commercial and
residential real estate sales. She was identified with many sales awards
for top listings and most sales. Sue purchased a home on South Padre Island
in 1995 to get away for the hustle of the Dallas area. She has served as
Board Secretary/Treasurer of the Laguna Madre Area Property Listing Service,
and remains active with the S.P.I. Community Foundation as well as being an
avid supporter of the Laguna Madre Humane Society. Sue is a dedicated,
full-time, motivated Realtor selling South Padre Island and the surrounding
area specializing in luxury, vacation/second, retirement and recreational
properties.
